Joby Gorillapod Review

Well, first of all, this is a small review on the Joby Gorillapod. A nice and lightweight tripod that can, infact fit in your pocket if needed. This tripod probably is only best suited to more compact camera as of the such small frame. It is only around 6 or 7 inches tall off the ground, BUT because of the great bending legs on it, it can wrap around anything you may want it too. A pole, a tree branch, lay on the floor, anything!

As you can see, on the top there is a small quick release plate. I bought this as while i was on holiday, my night time photography was kinda crap, to say the least. Slight hand movement or even the from pressing the shutter, it would give that slight blur in the image. I didn't want this and needed a small compact tripod.

This cost me only £10 from a local camera shop. Which i thought, even if it didn't live up to much help to me, then it was only a tenna spent and maybe also wasted. But saying that, it was £10 spent okay. It works which is the main thing, stops any movement while in the night and DOES attach to anything, i can even attach it to the top of my door.

Here is an image taken with it wrapped around the actual hanging basket itself, while taking the image of the flower inside the hanging basket.
